SHAH ALAM, 11 June 2026 – PTAR Engineering successfully organised Jelajah Ilmu @ PKEJ 2026 at PTAR Engineering, providing an engaging platform for students and staff to explore various library resources, academic support services, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Introduced participants to library resources, MyReading registration, and academic support services.
- Enhance participants’ knowledge and research skills.
- A collaboration with the University Archives Division offered information on archival services and book binding processes
The programme featured several informative booths designed to increase awareness of the services and resources available to the university community. Among the highlights were booths showcasing University Reference Resources and MyReading Registration, where participants were introduced to valuable academic materials and encouraged to cultivate reading habits through the national reading programme.
In addition, consultation sessions on Research Support Services and PRIME were conducted to assist participants in enhancing their research capabilities and understanding the various support mechanisms available through the library. These sessions provided valuable guidance for students and researchers seeking to improve the quality and impact of their academic work.
To create a more interactive and enjoyable atmosphere, a Games Corner was also set up, attracting visitors and encouraging participation through educational and recreational activities.
A special collaboration with the Bahagian Arkib Universiti further enriched the programme. Representatives from the division provided consultations on archival services and book binding processes, offering participants greater insight into document preservation, record management, and professional binding services available within the university.
The programme reflects PTAR Engineering’s continuous commitment to promoting lifelong learning, information literacy, and greater engagement with library services. Through initiatives such as Jelajah Ilmu @ PKEJ 2026, the library continues to serve as a dynamic hub for knowledge, research, and academic excellence within the university community.
