PRIMe UiTM in Motion: Coordinator Excellence Workshop

The Information Literacy Unit of the Library Services Division, Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), organized the PRIMe UiTM: Coordinator Excellence Workshop, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening the role of PRIMe Coordinators as the backbone of university publication management and verification.

The workshop provided more than a briefing; it served as an empowerment platform, allowing coordinators to explore their roles, align PRIMe UiTM objectives, streamline documentation, and collectively address real challenges with focused solutions.

Key Focus Areas of the Workshop:

  1. Alignment of PRIMe UiTM goals and objectives
  2. Empowerment of PRIMe Coordinator roles
  3. Accurate publication documentation and verification
  4. Sharing real challenges and impactful solutions

A total of 40 PRIMe Coordinators (Librarians and Assistant Librarians) from across UiTM branches participated, supported by Encik Ahamad Zuber Mohamed, Head of Library Services Division. The workshop was enriched through four focused sessions delivered by:

  • Puan Eza Eliana A. Wahid – Head of Information Literacy Unit
  • Puan Zuhaslinda Sulaiman – Research Support Section
  • Puan Nik Zatihulwani Jamaludin – Citation & Informetrics Section

The initiative demonstrates PTAR UiTM’s commitment to a more systematic, transparent, and impactful PRIMe UiTM, empowering the university’s publication ecosystem and supporting continuous academic excellence.
