20 November 2025,SHAH ALAM – The Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), welcomed a group of 140 students, 12 accompanying teachers and 8 facilitators from Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Ummah Chemor, Perak for an Academic Visit & Library Exposure Programme.
- Students from SRI Al-Ummah visited PTAR for library exposure and learning activities.
- The visit covered PTAR, GTAR and GESTURZ with interactive sessions.
- PTAR hopes the experience inspires students and nurtures a love for reading.
The visit covered three main locations, beginning with PTAR, where students were introduced to library services, information-search demonstrations and engaging information literacy activities. The delegation then proceeded to the Tun Abdul Razak Gallery (GTAR), where they learned about UiTM’s history and the nation’s intellectual heritage. The final stop was the Tuanku Nur Zahirah Art Gallery (GESTURZ), providing students the opportunity to explore artworks, creativity and cultural appreciation.
Throughout the programme, students participated in interactive briefings and fun learning activities designed to help them better understand the role of the library as a Vibrant Centre of Learning within UiTM.
PTAR expresses its sincere appreciation to the school, teachers and facilitators for the meaningful visit. It is hoped that this experience will inspire young learners, cultivate reading interest and draw the younger generation closer to the world of knowledge.
