The briefing aimed to provide exposure and reinforce understanding of Reading List management as a key academic reference resource that supports teaching and learning, while also ensuring compliance with programme accreditation requirements.
The programme commenced with welcoming remarks by Dr. Adlina Abdullah, Director of the University Reference Resources Division, who outlined the strategic direction and ownership targets for Reading List materials for 2026. This was followed by a presentation by Anis Fadilah Zulkifli, Librarian, who explained the latest guidelines and processes for Reading List management. The session continued with a sharing by Nur Azian Azis, Senior Librarian, on the e-Book Recommendation Guidelines for UiTM library staff directly involved in Reading List management.
A total of 87 staff members participated in the briefing, which served as a platform to strengthen best practices in Reading List management in alignment with UiTM’s academic requirements.
